Interviewer: “The ‘phfft’ sound for the Bounty Hunter’s dagger. That’s your voice
Answer: “Yes, I am to thank for that. That’ll be on my tombstone. It’s coming back. I just read a script (which calls for that sound effect). It’s a wonderful mythology two-parter. The first episode is known as ‘Two Fathers.

4. After the movie, we all felt the need to shake things up and take the audience some place they don’t expect to go,” he says. “Once we hit on the idea of reprising some of the fundamental aspects of the show, going back to the first season with ‘The Erlenmeyer Flask.’ The rest of it came very quickly.”

5. “My Mother said ‘(‘Home’) was horrible. Interviewer: How quickly can we expect to see another X-Files Movie?
Answer: “I don’t know. It depends on how long I take for vacation. I hope to write it over the summer of 2002 and I hope it prep it over the fall and spring and to shoot it in the late spring and summer of 2003. So I think you would end up seeing it in 2004.”

8. Significant other: “I’m glad for him that he got to come back because I think it’s very appropriate that he be in the last episode. I think it’s good for all of them.”

9. “The best part about it is that I know this is going to live on. I feel like I got involved in something great. When you think the history of TV, you’ll think about The X-Files.”

10. “Our crews have been absolutely amazing, the backbone of the show, and my heroes. So, as far as working on the show, that’s been the highlight for me—working with these wonderful people.”

Different actor: “When I got the part, Chris Carter wanted me to see the episode with Steve Railsback (Duane Berry). So I watched that, and at the end it says, ‘To be Continued.’ I really wanted to know what happened. So I called them up and asked them to send me part two.”

10. “At first it was a real challenge because I really didn’t have a clear-cut idea of what they were going after. But, as I approach any character, I try to go in with a secret and that secret really helps define who you are and how you conduct yourself and what your overall objective is and what you do to achieve the means to that end.”

Who said it?

1.	“I think all of us have fallen in love with these characters that we’ve spent so much time with and thinking about and dreaming and imagining and watching hundreds upon hundreds of hours of film of these actors. It was very easy for us to imagine this guy falling in love with Scully.”

2.	“I want everyone who watches the show to think anything can happen. Trust no one. Nothing is sacred. No one is safe.”

3.	“I think of my role as the hero.”

4.	“The possibilities are endless. You can go as far as the imagination will take you. That’s why it’s such a good show.”

5.	“Chris Carter is not into melodic music. He’s into sustained stuff, textural music, never over the top or too melodramatic.”

6.	“I get bored doing the same thing over and over again. When you have a successful show, people are sometimes scared to take chances.”

7.	“When we get an opportunity to work on scripts like (Memento Mor), where you have to put yourself on the line not only for the (TV audience) but also in front of the crew, you have to feel like you’re in a safe place in order to totally let go. And this a completely safe environment. So many of the guest stars who come up here comment on that –the fact that it feels so much like a family. They are my family and I love every single one of them, from the production assistants to the painters to all the office people.”

8.	(My character)“He is aggressive, he has a lot to prove to himself and to the people in his past.”

9.	“I still don’t know if (my character) is forever gone…”

10.	“I keep pinching myself,’ he says. “ I always thought I’d do some television series work and I always prayed it would be on a show I liked.”

Breaking Bad Among Year's Best TV: AP Story

If you haven't figured it out by now, I LOVE BREAKING BAD (caps lock on purpose). And that's not just because I did the set visit and will have my 15 seconds of fame when it premieres next year (which I pray will go on the cutting room floor).

I think this show is brilliant.

I'll warn you now, you'll probably see a lot of BB in this journal in the months to come. And Lordy are they going to do some heinous things in Season 3. Okay, more heinous than usual.

Date: 12/7/2009 11:11 AM
FRAZIER MOORE,AP Television Writer

NEW YORK (AP)

— "Breaking Bad" (FX). Here's the cruelest premise on series TV: a high-school teacher with terminal cancer gets into the crystal-meth trade as a desperate scheme to make sure his family is financially secure after he dies. Against all odds, in its second season, this drama upped the danger level, getting even stranger, more addictive and, yes, even funnier.

Rest of the story here:
http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/n/a/2009/12/07/entertainment/e081138S25.DTL

Gallery here:
http://www.mitchpileggi.net/Breaking_Bad/Breaking_Bad_Gallery/default.htm
